HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Sonora felt that her father deserved recognition for his dedication and hard work in raising her and her siblings. In 1910, she campaigned to establish Father's Day as a national holiday. It was officially recognized as a federal holiday in 1972.

Father's Day is celebrated in different ways across the globe. Some countries have it as a public holiday, while others observe it as a private occasion. In many places, people exchange gifts, cards, and flowers to show appreciation for their dads.
